Alexander Dennis Enviro400 Takes Centre Stage at CPT Ride and Drive Event

On the bright and sunny 29th July, industry professionals and transportation enthusiasts gathered at the North Weald Airfield for the highly anticipated CPT Ride and Drive Event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to try different vehicles in the people transport industry’s version of a track day.

Dawsongroup bus and coach were delighted to participate and took along one of our standard stock Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deck buses. Specification includes 86 upgraded seats with 3-point belts, USB charging points, and tachograph. This vehicle is celebrated for its innovation, sustainability, and passenger comfort. Attendees were eager to see if it lived up to its reputation: and it certainly did.

Our bus was so in demand that it was on the go from the moment those doors opened to drivers! One driver included our very own Ryan Stewart, CRO Manager, who felt the pressure as a fellow CPT member and qualified bus driver watched over his driving! (no cones were harmed in the taking of the photographs!).

Celebrating the Future of Transport

The CPT Ride and Drive Event was more than just a chance to drive a bus; it was a chance for the Dawsongroup Team to catch up with industry colleagues. We are very much looking forward to next year!
