Here is the next instalment in Dawsongroup | finance’s blog mini-series introducing you to members of their hardworking Dawsongroup finance family. They would like you to meet Jack Chafe – their Trainee Credit Analyst.

One of the newer members of the finance team, Jack has been doing a sterling job and thanks to his friendly, easy-going nature has fitted in brilliantly with their close-knit team.

So, take it away Jack.

Can you describe your role?

As a Trainee Credit Analyst, I review credit proposals for limited companies seeking finance; I assess the risk of taking on the deal and make a judgement as to whether it’s a good deal for us. I work closely with all the team to ensure that businesses receive the right funding based on their financial needs.

What do you love about your job?

I enjoy the atmosphere of the office – everyone is a good laugh and easy to get on with! It really helps you to enjoy your work when your colleagues are so welcoming and I learn a lot from all of them.

How do you relax?

I relax by playing Xbox, watching football or F1, or finding a pub with my friends with a pool table!
