Once the agreement is closed and the equipment is installed in the location desired by the client, the commercial department is in charge of carrying out a dedicated follow-up of each account, which is available to the user throughout the commercial relationship.

Today we interview Rocío Fernández , Sales Executive for Dawsongroup TCS Ibérica , to learn first-hand about her day-to-day life, her roles and responsibilities.
When did you become part of the Dawsongroup TCS Ibérica team?
I’ve been part of the team since October 1, 2018. Four years now!
During this time the company has doubled its fleet, tripled its staff, moved the workshop and warehouse to a larger and better equipped space… we have not stopped growing!
What are your functions within the company? How does your day go?
As sales manager, I am in charge of publicising the services and products that we market to potential clients, both in Spain and Portugal.
Through meetings and visits to their facilities, I immerse myself in their operations, understand their needs and propose the solution that best suits their projects, the market situation and its continuous changes.
During the entire time that our commercial relationship lasts, I attend to and support any doubts, concerns or requirements so that, together, we can optimise the processes to the maximum and get the most out of the equipment.
My day to day is usually quite hectic, and no two days are ever the same. I travel throughout a large part of the peninsula, I visit clients, I attend fairs and congresses, I manage the commercial area from the office… There is no time for routine!
What do you like most about your job?
As I handle so many different tasks, it’s hard to choose just one.
But I think that what motivates me the most is facing challenges on a daily basis, because of the satisfaction that comes from seeing them successfully resolved.
The dynamism and variety of my work is also something that I highly value, in addition to the relationship that I establish with my clients.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced working at Dawsongroup TCS Ibérica?
I think managing a project from start to finish for a company in the pharmaceutical sector, which is a very demanding industry.
We added several additional pieces to existing equipment that we had not previously installed, but we carried it out successfully and with the satisfaction of our client.
This is what gives meaning to my work.

Rocío’s desire to travel and see the world doesn’t stop at work, so outside of work, whenever she can, she dedicates herself to discovering new countries.
Of course, sometimes she also needs to take refuge in the calm of her house in Galicia, together with her family and animals, to recharge her energy!
