When Paul Richards, Warehouse and Transport Manager at FSW – the specialist refrigeration and air-conditioning manufacturing and reconditioning business based in Cannock – won the £1,000 prize for his nominated charity in Dawsongroup truck and trailer’s annual customer satisfaction survey, he knew immediately where it was going.
A poignant connection to the local St Giles Hospice in Whittington near Lichfield, where his best friend’s sister had passed away, was the best possible choice for Paul.
He said, “When you lose someone like that, it is great to be able to give something back to the place that cared for her in her final days. We have organised a lot of draws and events for them, so this was an added bonus.”
Paul has been with FSW for 23 years and oversees warehousing and transport out of the 27 branches that handle the company’s manufacturing, delivering and fitting of products across the UK.
