Building a Sustainable Future with Invinity Energy Systems
Dawsongroup power solutions is pleased to announce a new partnership with Invinity Energy Systems, a leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage. Invinity Energy Systems will be Dawsongroup power solutions’ hire partner for vanadium flow storage batteries, which are renowned for their long lifespan, flexibility, and safety.
Vanadium flow battery technology will be installed and utilised as a demonstration project for our customers to view in operation at our headquarters in Milton Keynes. It will showcase the technology’s capabilities in providing sustainable energy solutions. It will also provide a first-hand experience of how the technology works and how it can be integrated into any type of business. The aim is to raise awareness about sustainable energy solutions and encourage more widespread adoption of clean energy technologies.
Effective Energy Storage
As the demand for renewable energy continues to rise, the need for effective energy storage solutions is becoming more critical than ever before. One technology that is quickly gaining traction in the energy storage industry is vanadium flow batteries, which offer several advantages over traditional battery storage systems.
Vanadium is a naturally occurring metal that has excellent energy storage properties. When used in a flow battery, it can store energy for long periods and release it when needed. Unlike traditional battery storage systems, which rely on chemical reactions to store and release energy, vanadium flow batteries use a process called redox (reduction-oxidation) reactions, which involve the transfer of electrons between two vanadium ions in different oxidation states.
