Celebrating 50 Years of Service at Alton Towers
This June, more than a thousand Dawsongroup employees and their families arrived at Alton Towers Resort to spend the day celebrating the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Group’s first asset hire business, Dawsongroup truck and trailer.
Alton Towers was the ideal location for the family day out, celebrating 50 years of service. With big-ticket thrillers, like The Smiler and Nemesis, the family friendly CBeebies Land and calmer activities, like the gardens and a Sealife aquarium, there was something for everyone.
Dawsongroup truck and trailer has come a long way over the last fifty years, growing to become one of the largest independent Contract Hire, Lease and Rental businesses in the country. None of this would have been possible if not for the dedication and hard work of every employee.
As part of their thanks to the team, Steve Miller, CEO of Dawsongroup, and John Fletcher, Managing Director of Dawsongroup truck and trailer, plus other MDs from across the Group, were on hand over the weekend to welcome employees and their families to the hospitality suite.
