Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer Scoop Two Awards and Steve Miller, Group Chief Executive, is Recognised for His Service to the Industry at Last Night's Commercial Motor Awards

For the first time, last night’s Commercial Motor Awards were hosted virtually due to social distancing. John Fletcher, Truck and Trailer Managing Director, commented: "So, maybe it was tea rather than champagne that was flowing, but the atmosphere was electric with eager anticipation as we logged on to watch the annual Commercial Motor Awards presentation yesterday evening. Despite the lack of pomp and ceremony it certainly wasn’t disappointing!"

Dawsongroup scored a hat-trick, winning three of the prestigious awards and securing both the categories we entered – ‘Customer Service’ and ‘Rental, Leasing and Contract Hire Provider of the Year’. The latter was won for the second year running! The icing on the cake was the ‘Service to Industry’ award for our Group Chief Executive, Steve Miller.

Winning these awards in 2020 is something we are very proud of, especially with the challenges this year has brought. To be recognised for our customer service to an industry that has been on the front line with keyworker status, whilst supporting our customers’ businesses that have had to deal with the economic downturn, is testimony to our team's dedication and hard work.
