Dawsongroup emc have chosen to substantially invest in a greener future through its partnership with Volvo, expanding its fleet with over 100 new trucks this year, including state-of-the-art electric vehicles. This move represents a major step forward in the Company’s commitment to sustainability and providing customers with innovative, zero-emission transport solutions.

Dawsongroup’s decision to incorporate more electric vehicles into its fleet portfolio is part of the leading asset rental company’s forward-thinking vision and dedication to remaining at the forefront of the industry. The new Volvo trucks, including a mix of sweepers, hotboxes, skip loaders, hook loaders, MVCs, vacuum tankers and Kilo-Whale bodyworks at various configurations, will be delivered this year.

Paul Beddows, Director of Sales for Dawsongroup emc, says: “We supply many customers in this sector and we understand how important it is to keep one step ahead. Customers increasingly want to discuss carbon reduction targets for all areas of their business and we wanted to show them what was possible with electric trucks today. We have exhibited these asset examples and made them available on contract hire.”
