Dawsongroup to acquire Dan Ryan Truck Rental

Dawsongroup and Dan Ryan Truck Rental today announce that Dawsongroup has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Dan Ryan Truck Rental, Ireland’s longest-established commercial truck and van rental, leasing and contract hire business.

The combination of Dawsongroup, a leading independent asset leasing business providing a diverse range of business solutions from trucks to cold storage, and Dan Ryan Truck Rental, brings together two organisations with a shared heritage and strong customer-focused cultures. It represents a significant milestone in Dawsongroup’s growth strategy, strengthened by KKR’s support and providing a strong platform for expansion beyond the UK, as Dawsongroup pursues its ambition to build a broader European presence.

Built on a foundation of industry knowledge and exceptional customer service, Dan Ryan Truck Rental will benefit from Dawsongroup’s scale, resources and broader capabilities while continuing to operate under the trusted brand and values that have underpinned its success.

Dan Ryan Truck Rental will continue to operate under its established brand and as a separate business within Dawsongroup.
