Dawsongroup vans Sponsors the London Construction Awards 2023

On Friday 22nd September 2023, Dawsongroup vans attended the prestigious London Construction Awards 2023 at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith. The London Construction Awards celebrates the major achievements, developments, and innovations across the UK’s construction industry.

As a business that supports UK construction companies in achieving their carbon reduction plans through our Smarter Asset Strategy, we were thrilled to sponsor this year’s Excellence in Sustainability – Project award.

The evening began with the team, dressed to the nines, heading down for some reception drinks. The Dawsongroup vans team included Gary Henry, Sales Director, Aaron Cawrey, Head of Fleet, Sean Hewis, Regional Head of Sales, Louise Coleburt, Area Sales Manager, and Ryan Stewart, Marketing Executive. We were joined by the amazing team from JDT Utilities, who work hand in hand with the construction industry.

After some great networking time within the reception area, the host for the evening, comedian Dom Joly, kickstarted the evening. When the time came for the Excellence in Sustainability – Project award to be presented, Gary Henry took to the stage to announce the worthy winner: Bloom Developments. With 20 awards handed out across a wide range of categories, Dom Joly closed the night off with a hilarious comedy set.

When asked about the evening, Gary Henry said, “A huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners. As we continue to build our future, sustainability has never been more crucial, and it has been amazing to celebrate the incredible achievements of those who are leading the way in sustainable construction. We are excited for the future and how we can support construction companies across the UK on their journey to a decarbonised fleet.”
