Team Dawson Tackles Hadrian’s Cycleway Challenge, Raising Vital Funds for Transaid
In mid-September, Dawsongroup | truck and trailer’s Hadrian’s Cycleway Challenge team squeezed into their lycra and took on a two-day 157-mile coast to coast cycling challenge across northern England in aid of Transaid.
John Fletcher, Managing Director, Gareth Williams, General Manager South West, and Andrew Muir, Branch Sales Manager, took the challenge seriously, getting in as much practice as possible before the event. Andrew even got some mountain biking in while on holiday in Rhodes!
The weather was perfect and, after day one, which took the team up the beautiful Solway Firth, the guys headed east on the second, more gruelling stage, past Hadrian’s Wall.
The money raised is for Transaid’s important and invaluable work developing safe and sustainable transport in Africa where even small amounts can help save lives and make a massive difference.
